Capture amazing photos of the city with one of the best Lima Day Tours operator
Professional, multilingual guide to help you discover Lima in a unique way
The Lima Photography Day Tour is the only tour that will take you to touristic and lesser known places of the peruvian Capital. And all of that by walking and using the public transport ( safely of course ). Is there any better way to discover Lima other than doing it as a "Limeño" ?
An 8 hour complete Tour of Lima.
Meeting time at 9.30am in Miraflores. Parque Kennedy is the meeting point. Look for the shirt saying Andean Photo Expeditions Staff.
Are you staying in Lima Center? don't worry we will pick you up at Plaza San Martin around 10.15am.
Start the day in the center of Lima. Go through the central-market, Chinatown, from Plaza San Martin to Plaza Mayor and the catacombs of Monastery of San Francisco.
Quick break for an amazing lunch in Lima's chinatown. A Chifa restaurant ( Fusion Chinese/Peruvian food) Sounds like a good option.
We move to our next stop - Barranco and then the local Fisherman Harbour of Chorrillos, where fishermen, fish sellers, pelicans and customers meet to buy, sell, or eat the best fish in Lima.
El Mirador de la Cruz, El Salto Del Fraile... From there we will drive up the hill to be able to see Lima from an outstanding point of view.

Meeting point 9.30am
We will start this long and amazing day by meeting at the entrance of the Kennedy Park Cathedral in Miraflores at 9.30am.
Please bring a backpack with your belongings, don't forget suncream and a hat.
Lima's Touristic center
Once all together, we will leave for the Metropolitano station (the most efficient public transport in Peru). After 25mins in the bus, we will arrive at the historical center of Lima. We will start the tour on the tourist area of Lima - the center. This region is beautiful, full of history and definitely worth a visit. From Plaza San Martin we will go down to Plaza de Armas.
We keep moving into the Monastery of San Francisco where we will visit the catacombs.
Lima's LESSER KNOWN center
Once in the center of Lima, we get off the beaten path, to see how peruvians really live their daily lives.
We will visit the central market of Lima, an amazing opportunity for photography. Have lunch in Lima's Chinatown, in a Chifa restaurant, a fusion between Chinese and Peruvian food. The Chinese quarter established in Lima shortly after the arrival in 1849 of Chinese indentured laborers.
Barranco's bohemian streets. The district is considered to be the city's most romantic and bohemian, being the home and working place of many of Peru's leading artists, musicians, designers and photographers.
Walking through those quiet and beautiful streets is the best way to discover this district.
Chorrillos Fishing harbour
With a local Combi bus, we will reach the Fishing Harbour of Chorrillos. Fishermen return from the sea around 3pm every day with fresh fish. Lima is known for its diverse culinary culture, but even more for the traditional Ceviche. What better place than this local harbour to find out how limeñan people do business and handle their fish?
EL MORRO SOLAR DE CHORRILLOS
We will first go around the little mountain located south of Lima. Discovering another less visited place of Lima. El Mirador de la Cruz, El Salto Del Fraile... From there we will drive up that hill to be able to see Lima from an outstanding point of view.

Some of our customer reviews
Camila P. : I had a great day taking photos all over Lima. Dan, the photo tour guide, is a professional photographer with quite a depth of experience and knowledge of Lima. I was able to approach people with Dan's assistance and ask if I could take their photos. I also found some nice new little places which make for beautiful photos and angles I wouldn't have considered myself.
Joy W. : This tour is not to be missed, gives an insight into how local people live in Lima and surrounds. Guide is very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing info and tips on Peru. Best day in Lima so far! Thank you Dan.
Barbara : This was the first time that my husband and I took a walking photo tour. We travel extensively, so we take tons of pictures; and this tour seemed like a perfect fit. And it did not disappoint; we loved it!
We saw tourist spots and local off the beaten path areas too. We learned a few photo tips and saw various areas of Lima.
Dan was a great guide. He reached out to me in advance of our tour; and he is knowledgeable and friendly.
There is so much to see and do in Lima and Peru; after just one day we realized that we will definitely come back and contact Dan to arrange our tours.
Eddie D. : This was the best tour and day of my trip in Peru! Lucky for me and my sister, we had a private tour- no one else in our group. Super personal and detailed towards us! We were able to see the touristy aspects of Lima that are always in everyone’s list, but the best part was Seeing things that most tours don’t go to! Seeing the Market and the landmarks on the top of the mountains were my highlights! Dan was a great guide and ensured everything was in order! Felt very safe and knew we were in knowledgeable hands! Recommend this tour 100%!!
